Library:

  • To create awareness about reading right from the age of five.
  • To ascertain easy accessibility of books according to the age of children with the help of an experienced librarian.
  • To instill value oriented reading. The Library is open to all the members of the school on  all working day. Pupils should visit the Library frequently and do intelligent reading and reference work.
  • Strict silence should be observed in the Library.
  • No member shall bring any printed book into the library without the permission of the Librarian.
  • Books must not be marked or defaced. The pages should not be folded and used as bookmarks. Pupils should examine each book before borrowing it and report to the Librarian any damage found there in. Should they fail to do so, they will be held responsible for any damage detected after their use of the book.
  • Periodicals placed on the magazine racks should not be mishandled. They should be replaced on the racks after use.
  • Reference books and Encyclopedias will not be issued but are available for reference within the Library.
  • Date labels should not be tampered with.
  • The Librarian may recall a book at any time even before their expiry of the due date.
  • No pupil is allowed to lend books to anyone inside or outside the school. Library books will not be lent either to pupils or staff during the vacations.
